URBAN II Development Team Support

The URBAN II Hetton and Murton Community Initiative Development Team will provide support and guidance for any organisation that is considering making an application to the Connecting the Coalfield Partnership. Members of the Team are able help with the development of a project proposal at any stage. They will explain the requirements of the programme and assist in the preparation of the expression of interest, the application form and the project business plan.

Team members are able to give advice. They are unable to allocate any money to a project. It is the job of the Team to ensure that the potential project sponsor can make the best possible application to the Partnership and that the Partnership are able to consider the application and respond appropriately.

It is also the job of the Team to provide support for those partners that wish to become involved in the governance of the Initiative. Partners can contribute to the Working Groups and the Co-ordination Group. Members of the Team service those groups and are able to give support to new members to help them to understand the process they are becoming involved in.
