Application Process
The first step in the application process is to contact the URBAN
II Hetton and Murton Community Initiative Development Team.
The application process
has two stages. The first stage is optional, it is designed to enable
the Partnership to give feedback on potential project applications.
The expression of interest is a broad description of a project idea.
Completed on a standard form, the expression enables the relevant
Working Group to comment on the proposal before the work required
to make a full application is committed.
The second and compulsory
stage is a full application. In order to make a full application
the potential project sponsor must complete the relevant form and
produce a project business plan. The information required will describe
the proposed project in detail.
The full application is presented to the relevant Working Group
and the Co-ordination Group. It is those Groups that will decide
whether the Partnership will support the proposed project. If a
project is endorsed by the Partnership is will undergo a formal
appraisal and approval process.
