Connecting the Coalfields Partnership

The Connecting the Coalfield Partnership is made up of over 200 organisations. They all have an interest in the development of the Hetton and Murton area. Members include the relevant Local Authorities, other statutory organisations, voluntary organisations, community groups and private enterprises.

The Partnership allocates European Regional Development Fund money to projects. It has delegated decision making power to the Co-ordination Group.

The Co-ordination Group is supported by a series of Working Groups. Membership of the Working Groups is open to any member of the Partnership. The Working Groups vote representatives on to the Co-ordination Group.
